Bridging the Gap in Mental Health

Robert Maina founded Aspirant Wellness Solution LLC in 2024 after years of clinical work showed him a pattern he could not ignore. Patients were being stabilised during acute psychiatric care and then discharged without the structured support they needed to stay stable. The result was a revolving door. The same people returning every four to six weeks because nothing had been put in place to bridge the gap between crisis and community life.

AWS was built to close that gap. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Robert provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management across a wide range of conditions. He also holds a DEA certificate for prescribing controlled medications and an ANCC certification reflecting advanced nursing competency.

Beyond the clinical credentials, Robert’s approach reflects a deep belief that cultural identity is not a background factor in mental health. It is a central one. The programme at AWS is built around that belief, with services designed to be genuinely responsive to the cultural values, family structures, and community contexts of the diverse patient population the practice serves.

Victor Rie

Behavior Analyst

Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis 5 Years Experience in behavioral health

Evidence-Based Behavioral Support

Victor Rie brings five years of behavioral health experience to the Aspirant Wellness Solution team. His Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis provides a rigorous, evidence-based foundation for assessing and addressing the behavioural patterns that interfere with daily functioning, relationships, and quality of life.

Victor works with children, adolescents, and adults using behavioural interventions grounded in respect for the individual and their family context. His focus is on identifying what is driving problem behaviours, not just the behaviours themselves, and building practical strategies that actually fit the person’s real life.

Applied behavior analysis is most commonly associated with autism support, but its principles extend across conditions including ADHD, ODD, emotional disturbance, and behavioural challenges connected to trauma or mood disorders. Victor’s work at AWS often intersects with the psychiatric evaluation and medication management side of care to provide a more complete picture of what a patient needs.
